What is the level system?

Wordapp is using a level system to evaluate both writers and editors to make sure our clients have the best texts.

Availability of tasks for different levels

Every writer will start with level 3 and can only take over easy tasks (200 words or less); between Level 7-9 they can start working on medium tasks (201-700 words).
By reaching level 9, writers can pick up difficult tasks (700 words or more) and start editing tasks as well.
Editors can only edit the tasks of the writers with level 9 and above.
Only coaches (experienced editors) can edit the tasks of new writers (Level 8 and below)

Pointing system

Wordapp uses Fibonacci numbers for its level system. Fibonacci is a number sequence that increases like this:

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, 55, 89, 144, 233, 377, 610, 987, 1597, 2584, 4181, 6765, 10946, 17711, 28657, 46368, 75025, 121393, 196418, 317811, and so on…

When a task approved by an editor or publisher, a task gives +1 point to the writer/editor. If the publisher chooses “I LOVE IT” instead of “approve” then the writer gets +2 additional points from the publisher and editor gets +3 points. Which means they both get +3 points.
If the editor sends back the task to the writer because of “Grammar” and “Spelling”, the writer gets -1 point. If the publisher sends back the task to the editor because of “Grammar” and “Spelling”, the editor gets -3 points.
Respectively, If a writer drops down to below 3 and an editor to below 1 points, they will not be allowed to pick up any more tasks.

As an example: A level 5 writer needs to collect 3 more points to go up to level 6. A level 2 editor has to collect 1 more point to go up to level 3.

Pending task limit

Writers/Editors can only have pending tasks up to their level points.

As an example: A writer reaches level 9 can also start editing tasks with an editor level 2.This means this writer can only have 9 pending writing and 2 pending editing tasks.
